The soil has a variety of qualities that affect its ability to support the weight structure. One these features is stiffness, which can be determined using surface wave method prevent collapse. Multichannel Analysis Surface Waves (MASW) one non-invasive methodologies used in this study investigate subsurface structures North Sumatra, Indonesia. This utilizes dispersion properties Rayleigh waves, producing curve get shear velocity (Vs) through inversion. examine stiffness qualities. explains relationship between and depth, subsequently as site class parameter. survey uses three lines with shot for each line thirty geophones. seismic source gun type M16.38 Cal. Each consists 30 geophones distance 5 m. entire track 160 m long lasts 2048 seconds sampling rate 0.00025 seconds. average measured at measurements was 372.5 m/s on P1, 347.1 P2A, 311.0 P2B, respectively. Overall, classification P1 C, P2A P2B are D, suitable development planning areas.
